High speed steels

The stresses on high-speed steels in machining are manifold and, above all, extreme. The desired performance and required cost-effectiveness can only be achieved with the highest quality materials. Voestalpine BÖHLER Edelstahl has been the world’s pacer in this demanding segment for generations. A specialty are the high-performance powder metallurgically produced materials, which are produced in the world’s most modern 3rd generation plant, in Kapfenberg under the brand name MICROCLEAN . But also conventional high-speed steels for standard applications can be found in the portfolio.
