Core fields and duties of the raw materials purchasing department:

  • Ensuring the supply of melting operations with high quality raw materials, such as metals, ferro-alloys, scrap (alloyed and non-alloyed), ores and aggregates, refractory and the like as needed.
  • Optimizing raw materials stock
  • Securing the procurement of raw materials for the long-term at optimal procurement conditions.

Reliable, innovative cost-conscious suppliers/manufacturers are the basis for a cooperative and long-term collaboration. These are the aspects that determine the selection of a supplier. With that we are pursuing the goal of establishing preferred suppliers with whom we can develop strategic partnerships.
