MATERIAL SOLUTIONS FOR FOOD PROCESSING IN THE BÖHLER FOOD INDUSTRY

Modern standards in food processing justifiably place the highest demands on the components and tools used in terms of material mechanical properties as well as safety against contamination of the food.

As the world’s leading supplier of materials in terms of technology, it is precisely these demanding applications in which we specialize and where our metallurgical know-how comes into its own.  These are metallurgically high-purity materials which, due to their alloy composition, exhibit special resistance to migration of chemical elements into foodstuffs, a prerequisite for a number of certifications from strict government health authorities.
