PrintMetallurgical Laboratory
Conducting hot working simulations, differential thermal analysis and dilatometric tests are all a part of this lab. We have proven our competence in the fields of heat treatment, and working simulations, by producing TTT and TTA curves, and conducting deep freezing simulation, expansion coefficient analysis and recrystallization testing. Computer supported heat treatment instructions in a data bank are also available.

Physics Laboratory
Our service package includes measuring physical properties such as ferrite content, conductivity, resistance, and permeability of low and high alloyed materials, non-ferrous metals and their alloys. It also includes electric measurement of non-electric properties. Something which is particularly important is the testing of soft magnetic materials and stress-strain analysis using strain gauge technique and x-ray diffraction analysis (retained austenite content, phase analysis, residual stresses).

Investigation of the corrosion behaviour of steel and alloys according to international standards and specifications, testing the resistance against uniform corrosion, intergranular corrosion, stress corrosion cracking and pitting corrosion including electrochemical test methods, and examinations under different climate conditions.

Mechanic-Technologic and Metallographic Laboratories
Mechanic-technologic material testing
Running tensile tests, impact tests and stress rupture tests as well as hardness tests on steel and non-ferrous alloys according to international standards and regulations.
Metallography
Determining structure parameters of specimens and structural components, including photographic documentation, according to testing standards and customer specifications.
Heat treatment
Heat treating specimens and structural components in computerized lab furnaces with air and controlled atmosphere furnaces, corresponding to the requirements of the aircraft industry. Heat treatment of tool steel specimens in salt baths.
