BÖHLER K340 ISODUR - is a electro slag re-melted 8% Cr-steel developed by Böhler with high toughness, compressive strength and wear resistance.


BÖHLER K340 ECOSTAR - is a conventionally melted 8% Cr-steel developed by Böhler with high toughness, compressive strength and wear resistance.


BÖHLER K353 - Conventionally produced 8% Cr steel which combines very good machinability, good EDM properties and good dimensional stability.

BÖHLER K360 - is an advancement of the electro slag re-melted 8% Cr-steels. The material has a high toughness and compressive strength and an outstanding wear resistance especially for tools where adhesive and abrasive wear resistance are necessary.


BÖHLER K390 - is a powder metallurgical produced cold work tool steel with a high hardness, an extremely high wear resistance and high toughness.
BÖHLER K490 - this material combines wear resistance and toughness at a high level! The customer benefit:  excellent hard machinability, flexibility in the heat treatment and improved service time results of the tools.

BÖHLER - Survey of cold work tool steels
BÖHLER K100 - Standard grade of dimensionally stable ledeburitic, high carbon, high chromium (12%) tool steels.
BÖHLER K105 - Dimensionally stable, high carbon, high-chromium (12%) steel. Particularly suitable for air hardening. Good toughness.
BÖHLER K107 - Dimensionally stable ledeburitic 12% chromium steel, possessing superior wear resistance, suitable for air hardening.

BÖHLER K110 - Dimensionally stable, high carbon, high-chromium (12%) steel. Particularly suitable for air hardening. Good toughness.
BÖHLER K245 - Cold work tool steel possessing good resistance to abrasion, and excellent elasticity.
BÖHLER K305 - Air hardening cold work tool steel with good dimensional stability, high resistance to wear and good machining properties.
BÖHLER K306 - Tool steel having excellent toughness and wear resistance, as well as high retention of hardness.
BÖHLER K329 - Cold work tool steel with excellent toughness and good wear resistance.

BÖHLER K600 - Cold work tool steel with high thoughness and full hardenability, also large dimensions. High impact strength and compressive strength. For oil and air hardening. Good polishability.
BÖHLER K605 - Cold work tool steel with high thoughness and full hardenability, for air hardening.
BÖHLER K700 - Wear resisting hard manganese steel featuring high toughness and excellent weldability which acquires its working hardness (surface hardness up to 600 Vickers) by strain hardening, thus being particularly suited for applications involving wear by impact or pressure.
BÖHLER K720 - Oil hardening, dimensionally stable tool steel.
